Welcome to Mondi SCP

Mondi SCP has a rich history. Manual paper production started in the 17^th Century in Ružomberok, in the north of Slovakia, where the paper mill is located. Production began with a small paper mill, which has since undergone various changes until 2004 when it became part of the international network of Mondi, which now shares its 51% ownership with Slovak shareholder ECO-INVEST.

Mondi SCP is one of the key members of Mondi, producing majority of offset paper in the group as well as more than 300.000 tons of office paper. With a production exceeding 420.000 tons of pulp and 510.000 tons of uncoated wood free paper, Mondi SCP is the biggest integrated company for paper and pulp production in the Slovak republic.

Other production and support processes include among many others printed wrapping paper, pallets, electricity and heat production and waste water treatment for the town of Ružomberok.

Mondi SCP is the region’s major employer and largest industrial subject. To achieve sustainable success, it has a long-standing commitment to good corporate citizenship among employees and other stakeholders. It also invests significant sums in technology to achieve greater production, while ensuring it is environmentally friendly. Mondi SCP has focused sustainable development strategies that create the basement for achieving its business objectives.
