Mondi Stambolijski EAD was established in 1957 on the Maritsa riverbank in the central Bulgarian town of Stambolijski, 120km from Sofia and 20km from Plovdiv - a beautiful historic Roman city. The mill operates in a region abundant in softwood, pine and spruce, ideal for making excellent Sack Kraft Paper, where forests are grown and maintained on a sustainable basis. Our central geographical location and excellent manufacturing capabilities enable us to produce high-quality Kraft Paper and provide good service to our customers. Our other major products, equally popular and well received in the market, are NSSC Based Fluting and Paper Sacks for heavy duty applications like cement, flour, chemicals and more.
