My Mondi career started in June 2008 when Mondi acquired the majority shares of Tire Kutsan in Turkey. It was a challenging time as the two different companies had to integrate and it led to many changes. My task was to improve the performance of the sales team, increase the sales and reach the number one position in Turkey through key account customers, as well as to decrease our receivables. We reached all these targets in two years! I spend most of my time travelling between the plants in the different regions in Turkey and visiting customers. I receive a lot of support from Vienna HQ colleagues – they are always helpful and friendly. To work for Mondi, you have to be dynamic, creative and supportive, and a decision maker, and that’s great!red to learn from other employees particularly the more mature and experienced individuals in the organization.
