After my studies in my home country of Finland in Chemical Engineering, majoring in Paper Chemistry, I spent some years in the chemical industry supplying to paper mills and working in various countries.
Already at that time, Mondi was always the benchmark among paper producing companies in terms of image, technology and the vast product variety.
One of the reasons I chose to work for Mondi is that I enjoy working in an international environment, with people from totally different backgrounds.
One of the most motivating parts of my work are the joint projects together with our customers and the opportunity to work together in different cross-functional project teams. I also really enjoy working closely with our mills spread all over the world on various quality improvement projects. The close co-operation with our Marketing colleagues on technical product management issues also provides the perfect combination of technological and strategic aspects.
In my view customer orientation has to continue to be a part of all that we do at Mondi. I am really excited about our new Customer Focus strategy and am confident that we are on the right path and that I am in the best place to help drive that. |
