Continuous Improvement Manager

Your responsibilities:

• Increase profitability of business unit
• Develop/train people and organisation
• Encourage knowledge sharing throughout the plant network
• Push down decision level
• Drive Operational Excellence  
• Re-strengthen and extend Continuous Improvement initiative
• Lead and coach CI-Team
• Spread mind set and approach throughout the organisation
• Select the right tools in order to push decision level down
• Develop our staff through training and coaching
• Reporting to the BU Operations Director (temporary assignments might differ)

Our requirements:

Languages:

Excellent command of English, additional languages are beneficial

Education:

Technical and/or economical university degree

Experience:

• Certified Six Sigma Black Belt with 3-5 years practical experience
• Extensive experience in Lean Manufacturing tool implementation on shopfloor (e.g.Toyota Production System, Kaizen-Methoden, TP; TQM, Policy Deployment, JIT, Kanban, Hoshin, Smed, 5S, Poka Yoke)

• Ability to encourage the relevant stakeholders and to supervise change processes across all levels
• Team leader experience
• Effectively involves key people in the design and implementation of change
• Effectively manages others resistance to organisational change
• Travelling flexibility
