Mondi Group Executive Committee Changes

6th June 2008 - Mondi today announces the following changes to the membership of its Group Executive Committee:

• Ron Traill, CEO of Mondi’s South Africa Division, is joining the Executive Committee with immediate effect.
• Mervyn Walker, Group Human Resources and Legal Director, will be leaving Mondi at the end of August this year to take up the position of Group Head of Human Resources at Anglo American plc.

Commenting on the changes, David Hathorn, Mondi’s Group CEO, said:

“I am delighted to welcome Ron Traill to the Executive Committee. His appointment reflects both the importance of our South African business and his personal capabilities and experience.

While I am disappointed that Mervyn Walker will be leaving Mondi, I’d like to thank him for his contribution to our business and wish him every success in his new role.”
