Oman Mondi Shuaiba Packaging L.L.C.

Oman Frantschach Industrial Packaging (Oman Mondi Shuaiba Packaging) is a greenfield factory located in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. Production started in January 2005 and the company serves the local Omani market and exports to various other countries.

By producing high quality industrial paper bags, the company has been able to successfully change traditional bag construction by reducing the number of plies and thereby reducing material.

A joint venture with Shuaiba Paper Products Company (Kuwait) established at the beginning of 2007 is enabling the site to become a more diversified bag producer, serving other industries in addition to its established focus on the building materials and cement industry – broadening the range of industrial paper bags offered from cement bags (valve) to chemical and tea bags (OM), in various sizes and constructions.
