Group Innovation
The Group Innovation team’s responsibility is to encourage and enable a spirit of innovation and R&D related activities at all levels of Mondi group, working with our divisional R&D and Innovation Centres to help maintain and extend our competitive advantage.
Based in Vienna, Austria, its activities include:
- Constant scanning of the market to identify new opportunities
- Monitoring, identification and analysis of industry trends
- Foreseeing emerging industry and technological developments
- Maintaining relationships and developing collaborative activities with:
- Developing products, processes and services in close partnership with divisional development teams and external partners
- The commercial assessment of business opportunities
- Licensing
- Intellectual Property Rights management
We follow a careful and complex process to evaluate, develop and finally implement projects, which are constantly measured against pre-defined milestones to ensure efficient project development.
The Mondi Group Innovation team acts as a “think tank” that shares its expertise in many areas of innovation and R&D, and is always open to explore opportunities with external partners.
