Mondi has always been at the forefront when it comes to pioneering the environmentally-friendly manufacture of high-quality papers for office communication. Sustainability is key for us, entailing not just the careful selection of raw materials and their suppliers but also the efficient use of energy and the greatest possible reduction of waste and damaging environmental emissions.
One demonstration of our sustainability ethos in action is a unique product family that protects the environment, leaf for leaf. This is our Green Range, which consists entirely of FSC certified paper from well managed forests, TCF (totally chlorine-free), paper that's 100% recycled from our top ranges.
So when you choose a Green Range product you're not only looking after the environment - you're getting great quality as well.
Taking natural paths
FSC stands for "Forest Stewardship Council", one of the most important international certification systems for forest management. The Council‘s seal is awarded to wood products from all over the world that result from forest management practices that are guaranteed to be exemplary and so support the long-term preservation of forests and their biological diversity. The award is granted on the basis of international principles, taking into account ecological and economic requirements as well as social factors.
Our forests in South Africa were awarded full FSC certification in the 1990s. And for the FSC certification of our leased forests in Russia we received the WWF's prestigious Panda Award in 2006 for the second time. more
TCF means "totally chlorine free". We bleach our TCF products (BIO TOP 3®, IQ TRIOTEC®unique and MAESTRO® TRIOTEC® TCF) using oxygen and hydrogen peroxide to ensure waste water is not impurified with any harmful chlorine compounds and that no pollutants enter the food chain. Our patented 'sandwich' technology enables us to use recycled fibres between high-quality primary fibres in our IQ TRIOTEC® unique and MAESTRO® TRIOTEC® papers. more
Recycled papers make it possible to extend the bonding period of carbon, keeping CO2 emissions into the atmosphere to a minimum. Our NAUTILUS and NAUTILUS SuperWhite products consist entirely of recycled fibres. more

When you choose the Green Range, you're choosing products of the very highest quality. Ground-breaking innovations are part and parcel of our Green Range family.
We launched TRIOTEC® an entirely new and still unique technology, in the 1990s. Using a 'sandwich' system, we combine two external layers of primary fibres with a middle layer, which can also consist of recycled fibres. TRIOTEC® products deliver outstanding feeding performance for the maximum protection of copiers, printers and other hardware.
