Tarik Aniba

I joined Mondi in 2003 in Morocco, where I had to develop the west African market. After 2 years I became a project manager for supply chain and new innovation projects in Vienna. For the past three years I have been working as a continuous improvement black belt in Industrial Bags and I’m responsible for improving and streamlining business processes with high customer focus.

Mondi is a fast moving, dynamic company and requires quick decision making and adaptation. My managers are demanding and challenging, but at the same time they empower me and provide me with the support and tools to deliver results.

I have the opportunity to work with people from different cultures and backgrounds and in different countries, making my tasks challenging and developing my leadership skills. There are eight people in my team from eight different nationalities, and the rich discussions and input each one brings help us to achieve excellence. I can’t recall a single day where I experienced any routine in my work, and this makes the work simply fun.

Mondi has enriched my professional and personal life. The relocation to Vienna five years ago tested my adaptation skills. I had to adapt to a new culture, learn German and settle into a different country. There are many opportunities at Mondi, you just need to grab them.
