Mondi Tire Kutsan grabs gold prizes with innovative packaging solutions

Mondi Tire Kutsan is about to participate in the Worldstar Contest with “Athena” and “Bacchus”!

Mondi Tire Kutsan, the leading supplier of corrugated packaging in Turkey, was awarded for its corrugated packaging solutions labeled “Athena” and “Bacchus” at the Golden Package Contest.

The Golden Package Contest is an international competition for producers of highly creative and diverse packaging solutions organised by the Turkish Standards Institute. In this year’s competition, Mondi Tire Kutsan was awarded for its genuine olive-oil (Athena) and wine bottle (Bacchus) packaging solutions, two innovative designs, which can be set up just by manual folding and without the use of any binding material (such as adhesives, staples etc.). 
“Athena”, mainly produced to transport and protect olive-oil bottles, consists of a protection part made of corrugated board processed in a single wall flute while providing a fancy style. “Bacchus” on the other hand, which was originally produced to contain wine bottles, consists of two parts, the outer cover and the inner supporting parts, both manufactured in corrugated board with a single wall flute and with a handle made of plastic material.

Both “Athena and “Bacchus” packaging solutions are designed to answer the customer requirements of easy carrying and perfect product protection and presentation, with a minimum use of materials.
