Sustainable forestry

The land we own, lease and manage and the majority of the wood and fibre we purchase is accredited by the FSC™ (Forest Stewardship Council™), PEFC™ (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) or FSC™ Controlled Wood Standard®. To further increase this amount, we work with certification bodies and small growers to find a practical solution to their certification.

Mondi’s responsible forestry initiatives ranges from managing ecosystems and biodiversity with sponsored projects such as the Mondi Wetland Programme (MWP) to the promotion and support of the High Conservation Value (HCV) concept worldwide.
