Consumer Films
For consumer application we offer high barrier films (e.g. for meat and cheese) as well as packaging polyethylen (PE) films (e.g. for frozen food).
Our consumer barrier films are special purpose films and can consist of up to 14 film layers. They have excellent barrier properties and, depending on the requirements, the barrier layers can have special features/finishes such as gas barrier, scent barrier, UV absorber, etc. These films are especially used in the high-grade foodstuffs sector, thus achieving good protection for the packaged goods and a substantial prolongation in shelf life.
