Easy Open

Easy Open is the easiest, safest and cleanest way to open a bag. The integrated strip allows the user to rip the bag open without risking contamination, using sharp devices or fiddling with paper shreds. The bag remains intact apart from the controlled rip through which the filling good can be discharged.

Avoid Contamination

Easy Open keeps paper shreds or other particles from entering the bag, which may contaminate the filling good when opening it with common devices. This is especially important in the food, pharmaceutical and chemicals industries but is also an asset for building materials. When combined for example with the Hot Lock Bag® – an open mouth bag with hygienic hot melt – the Easy Open feature permits the quick and clean separation of the PE inliner from the protecting paper bag. The inner bag therefore is left undamaged and the filling good remains pure until its final usage.

Safety First

When opening the bag with a cutter knife or similar device several risks occur. Besides the risk of contaminating the filling good, there is a very prominent risk for the users of injuring themselves. Using Easy Open means additional safety for production employees and end-users. A definite plus for promoting safety.
