Mondi Global R&D Centre for Flexible Packaging and Engineered Materials ist die Forschungs- und Entwicklungsgesellschaft, in der die Produkt- und Verfahrensentwicklungen für Konsumverpackungen sowie für Folien und Hygienekomponenten erfolgen. Ein qualifiziertes Experten-Team entwickelt innovative Zwischen- und Endprodukte unter Berücksichtigung neuester Rohstoffe, Verarbeitungs- und Veredelungstechnologien.

Das R&D Centerin Gronau verfügt über ein hochmodernes Analytiklabor, in dem detaillierte Material- und Produktanalysen mit modernster Ausstattung durchgeführt werden. Zudem entwickeln wir gemeinsam mit unseren Kunden neue und maßgeschneiderte Testmethoden.

Auf den Pilotanlagen des hauseigenen Technikums sind die kommerziellen Prozesse in kleinem Maßstab darstellbar und ermöglichen so die schnelle Herstellung komplexer Produktmuster sowie die Entwicklung neuer bzw. modifizierter Produktionsverfahren.

Mondi Global R&D Centre for Flexible Packaging and Engineered Materials centralises the product and process developments for innovative flexible film & laminate solutions for packaging, personal care components and extrusion applications. A qualified team of experts develops innovative intermediate and final products taking into account the latest developments in raw materials as well as in processing and conversion technologies.

The R&D center in Gronau has a modern analytical laboratory, where detailed material and product analyses are done with state-of-the-art equipment. In addition, tailor-made test methods are developed together with our customers.

On the pilot lines, the commercial processes can be represented on a small scale, which allows the fast production of complex product samples as well as the development of new or modified production processes.
