Operating since 1959, the Salt Lake City facility joined Mondi in 2014 as a market leader in the Western Region of the United States for the Paper Bags business segment.

The plant is AIB certified and mainly serves the building products/cement, chemical/mineral, pet and food industries. Salt Lake City produces 3 main bag types - Pasted Valve, Pinch Bottom, and PeelPak (Dairy Industry).
