What’s your job at Mondi and where do you work?
I am in charge of customer service and manage a team of seven specialists at Mondi in Warsaw.
What did you study or do before you joined Mondi?
Before joining Mondi, I first studied speech therapy and sales management. After graduating, I decided to pursue a career in the customer service field, where I have since gathered more than 10 years of experience, working in different industries. This includes big corporations, as well as smaller companies. My career path eventually brought me to Mondi, where I really benefit from my background and experience.
When did you start working for Mondi?
I joined Mondi in 2015 and will soon celebrate my fourth anniversary of working here.
Did you have a different role at Mondi earlier in your career?
Yes I did. In fact, I think my career at Mondi is a great example of the opportunities for development offered by Mondi as an employer. When I first came to Mondi, I worked as an assistant to the managing director. I then entered the customer service department and after a lot of hard work and dedication, I finally earned my promotion to a management position.
What do you like most about working at Mondi?
The best thing about working for Mondi is that my goals and values are in harmony with company’s ones. This allows me to give my best at all times to achieve a common goal. I thrive in environments that are supportive and collaborative and I am very fortunate that I have found these characteristics at Mondi. Moreover, the team spirit here is very strong and I appreciate the possibility to work with a wide variety of people at various levels.
What are your colleagues like?
My colleagues are fantastic and I am proud to have such a great team. I really enjoy good teamwork and value teammates who are supportive and are willing to do whatever it takes to achieve our goals together. We are like one big machine. My success is a result of the hard work of my employees and myself.
What’s your dream job?
I have really enjoyed my time in management and my ambition is therefore to continue doing that. The position of managing director for example, is a job that I aspire to do and I think I would do well in. I believe that there is space for powerful women in executive positions and I would love to be an example of a successful woman in the company that others can look up to.
How do you like to spend your free time?
I spend almost all of my free time with my two-year-old daughter. She is in a stage of her development where her mummy is the most important person in the world. Apart from that, my husband is a passionate beekeeper, so I like to help him with that when possible.
What matters most to you?
The health and happiness of my family matters most to me.
