Customer Service Manager
What’s your job at Mondi and where do you work?
I work as a Customer Service Manager at the Mondi Powerflute mill in Kuopio, Finland.
What did you study or do before you joined Mondi?
I have a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and I have worked with technical issues for most of my career. Before Mondi, I worked as a technical service manager in the steel industry. Business development is my number one interest. To improve my knowledge in this field I also finished a Master's Degree in Business Development and Entrepreneurship in 2016.
When did you start working for Mondi?
I started working at the Powerflute mill in 2016 but for Mondi in 2018 when Mondi bought that mill.
Did you have a different role at Mondi earlier?
No, but in the future I want to. Since Kuopio mill’s customer service functions will be transferred to Mondi’s mill in Swiecie, Poland in Q1/2020, my team and I will be facing some changes.
What are your colleagues like?
My colleagues in customer service are very talented and work-oriented. For us, the customer always comes first.
What is your secret talent?
I can use CAD programs and read technical drawings – unfortunately, there is no use for this talent in my current job.
What’s your dream job?
My dream job would combine all my skills and knowledge. It would have something to do with business and technology – for example the business development of technical services.
How do you like to spend your free time?
I do sports with my family, orienteering in summer and XC-skiing in winter.
