Business Process Owner - SAP Controlling (f/m)

Consumer Packaging, Finance, Austria

Your responsibilities: 

Within this role, reporting to the Head of Business Solutions, you will own all SAP CO processes within the Business Unit and be in charge of

  • definition of SAP CO Controlling Concepts and Procedures as well as driving a pragmatic but qualitative Best Practice and overall standardization process
  • ensuring a successful implementation of those SAP CO processes in our plants accordingly, including system testing and training workshops on-site
  • facilitating the global SAP Kernel rollouts as Business Support to local Key User/-s
  • leading the SAP CO Key User group and ensuring an effective know-how exchange, including training and coaching of Key Users
  • ad hoc analyses in case of business needs
  • developing a training approach for SAP CO Controlling Concept (process documentation, user manual / documentation, etc.)

Our requirements:

  • proficiency and extended knowledge of MS Office tools (i.e. Excel)
  • strong understanding of Cost Accounting processes and integration to Financial Accounting
  • profound and practical knowledge of essential SAP CO fundamentals, such as SAP Cost Object Planning and Allocation // Product and Order Cost Calculation // Overhead / ABC cost calculation // Profitability Analysis // WIP and Inventory Valuation
  • ability to visualize, document, and communicate business-driven & technology-based workflows in an "end 2 end" manner

Languages: 

  • excellent English skills
  • German or any other language considered a plus

Education: 

  • university degree in an economics and/or a technical discipline

Experience: 

  • minimum 5 years of relevant work experience as a Controller using SAP CO
  • in-depth SAP CO know-how in both implementation and business use advantageous
  • experience in an international group in the manufacturing industry beneficial
  • experience in leading workshops and training others highly desirable

  • willingness to travel up to 50% globally

Immediate start date

(Ref. Austrian “Bundes-Gleichbehandlungsgesetz”: The position is subject to the Austrian collective agreement of the “Papierverarbeitende Industrie” with a legal minimum wage of € 50,000 gross/year plus overpayment. The overpayment is determined by the qualification of the jobholder.)
