Business Segment Zero Defect and Continuous Improvement Coordinator (f/m)

Corrugated packaging (Fibre Packaging), Quality Management, Austria

Your responsibilities:

  • defining a yearly CI and Zero Defect business segment road map and project plan based on targets of the organization in alignment with business segment and regional management
  • following up of the business segment road map and derived projects and initiatives
  • taking the administrator role of business segment management, quality and manufacturing systems to follow up, support, mentor and execute the business segment processes
  • constant focus on improvement of all relevant business processes (commercial, quality, production, procurement, supply chain)
  • designing and developing reports for relevant business processes for business segment / regional / plant level and supporting implementation
  • supporting people development of the local organization by performing CI trainings
  • proactively supporting knowledge transfer and best practice sharing within the business segment
  • cooperation with SHE manager for SHE relevant activities (e.g. 5S, SMED, Visual Management, Process Standardization)

Our requirements:

  • exceptional project management skills
  • in-depth knowledge of CI-tools / Lean Management
  • affinity for IT-systems, eagerness to learn and develop them in accordance with our business process needs
  • very good command of MS office and at least basic understanding of SAP
  • knowledge in OMP is an advantage

Languages:

  • excellent command of English
  • German / Czech / Polish / Turkish / Russian is an advantage

Education:

  • university degree (FH or TU) in Industrial / Mechanical Engineering or similar
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or higher considered a plus

Experience:

3 – 5 years of experience in an international production environment

  • ability to navigate and deliver results in a matrix organisation and act as a liaison between corporate functions, regions and plants
  • driving license (B) holder
  • available for business travel (Mondays to Thursdays) up to 50%, mainly within Europe
