Customer Service Representative (1)

Fibre Packaging, Marketing / Sales, USA

Role responsibilities:

  • Work with current Sales Manager and customer service team to support order process and fulfilment
  • Obtain and evaluate all relevant information from external customers or internal mill teams to handle product and service inquiries
  • Assist with order releases within SAP
  • Handle incoming customer inquiries or forward to correct team
  • Coordinate new orders with Europe-based customer service group
  • Enter all date related to customer Master Data in SAP
  • Assist with any Master Data needs within SAP as requested
  • Handle the pricing, credit & rebates as directed by Sales team
  • Address customer priorities, identify solutions to their unique needs and work with Sales Team to meet customer needs
  • Strong cooperation/communication with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. freight/warehousing companies, Europe-based customer service, production planning, sales, accounts receivable, etc.)
  • Be pro-active to manage tasks with wide range of stakeholders and interests.
  • Backup support for current Customer Service Representative
  • Other duties as requested and as role evolves

Our requirements:

  • Strong Excel and Microsoft office skills required
  • Must have strong organizational skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Attentive work style (deadline and detail conscious)
  • Proven ability to prioritize numerous projects and deadlines
  • Communication skills (team player)
  • Logistics experience (familiarity with documentation)
  • Ability to travel up to 10%  

Languages:

  • Fluent in English

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in business, supply chain or related field required

Experience:

  • 2-3 years of customer service experience in the manufacturing industry
  • Pervious SAP order management experience required
  • Pervious paper industry experience a plus
