Electrical Maintenance Engineer (f/m)

Sack kraft paper (Packaging Paper), Engineering / Maintenance, Bulgaria



The electrical maintenance engineer supports the manufacturing operations. The position works closely with other staff engineers and is responsible for providing engineering and technical services to support the manufacturing equipment, maintenance systems and the production process. Opportunities exist to be exposed to all mill areas by assisting other engineers and groups on projects throughout the mill.

  • Improvement of equipment availability & reliability and production related performance
  • Develops engineering solutions to repetitive failures and all other problems that adversely affect plant operations
  • Supports with expert recommendations in improvements and modifications of equipment
  • Increased value generation through close cooperation with production
  • Responsible for maintenance budget within area
  • Assists the electrical and automation manager in the review, justification and validation of capital project work
  • Planning and execution of technical improvement projects/shut down subprojects
  • Ownership for safety – adherence and support of the company’s safety culture.



  • Very good MS Office skills
  • Wiling and ability to learn new skills
  • Creativity and out-of-the-box thinking
  • Independent working style and strong team player



  • Bulgarian and English language (both written and spoken)


  • Master or bachelor degree in Electrical engineering


  • Experience in an industrial environment is advantageous


  • Ability to achieve high results and prioritize work while remaining flexible
  • Capable to interact and work well with various people within the organization
