Internal Communication Manager (f/m)

Corporate function, Marketing / Sales, Austria

Your responsibilities:

  • project manager for our award-winning Mondi Group intranet site (planetmondi) ensuring that it has the right mix of content and stable operational performance, including:
    • strategic development of the intranet, e.g. migrating local sites onto planetmondi, making full use of its collaboration and communication potential
    • managing the daily news and key content
    • being first point of contact for our network of intranet champions across Mondi, including training and guidance
    • working closely with IT to deliver updates
    • budget responsibility and monthly performance updates
  • creating and delivering the communication campaign for our Mondi Group Employee Survey
    • ensuring a high participation rate among employees in all parts of our international network
    • following up communication activity to act on employee feedback, e.g. internal communication handbook for leaders
  • active role in the development of our Internal Communication Strategy and the activities it includes
  • supporting the delivery of virtual leadership conferences that will bring together Mondi executives and groups to discuss core business themes
  • developing creative internal campaigns on key topics (e.g. quality / innovation / sustainability)
  • organising appropriate training for leaders on internal communication
  • overseeing translations with our external supplier
  • support on ad hoc issues as necessary, working closely with our Communication team

Our requirements


Excellent English and German


University degree with a specialisation in communication, marketing, public relations and/or business administration required


  • 3 – 5 years of experience in an international organisation managing corporate and internal communication
  • experience of working with intranets and/or internal communication channels would be an advantage
  • experience in developing creative campaigns, events and working with senior leaders would be an advantage
  • managing communication projects
