Junior Controller (f/m)

Consumer Packaging, Finance, Austria

Your Responsibilities: 

  • timely and accurate preparation and analysis on monthly & quarterly reports, annual budget and three outlooks on Business Unit level
  • create, implement and continuously update and improve our regular reporting
  • developing, implementing and maintaining effective financial reporting, planning and analysis models mainly in Hyperion Financial Management and Excel
  • ad hoc management reporting and presentation, ad hoc projects
  • assisting in the periodical management reporting and budget planning process
  • communicate with our internal and external stakeholders mainly in English
  • working closely with various corporate departments, business units and plants
  • support in the continuous and pro-active improvement of workflows and tools
  • general support of our Finance team

Our Requirements:

  • excellent MS-Office skills, above all in Excel
  • good financial and high analytical skills
  • knowledge of SAP is an advantage


  • excellent command of English, German and any other European language is an asset


  • economic education in business administration at University with specialisation in finance, accounting or controlling


  • up to 1-2 years first professional experience gained in a finance department advantageous
  • first work experience in an international environment (e.g. internships) preferable


  • passion for analytical and detailed controlling tasks
  • structured and meticulous working style, which can be quickly adapted to changing focus areas
  • open-minded and a good team player who is capable to communicate with people from different cultures and with different stakeholders
  • high level of self-motivation and independent way of working
  • play an active role and work on solutions together with the business
  • international mobility and wish to further develop into a finance role in one of our plants all over the world within the next 3-4 years
