Paper Planning and Supply Chain Manager (f/m)

Fibre Packaging, Logistics / Transport, Austria

Your responsibilities: 

You will be steering local paper forecasts and the demand & supply balance across all regions / bag plants with internal and external paper suppliers. You will be responsible for the coordination of paper needs with high seasonality factor and with >40 production facilities spread over the world with suppliers. Furthermore, you will participate in supply chain improvement projects. Additionally, your tasks will include:

  • contract management with external suppliers, including measurement of KPIs against contract terms – e.g. volume rebates
  • delivery of high quality yearly paper budget and outlooks on supplier / grade level
  • supply chain coordination (strong cooperation with internal and external strategic paper suppliers and Industrial Bags producing plants)
  • defining and enforcing clear rules and responsibilities in the paper supply chain process (SLA, Delivery Reliability performance, Stock level, target setting, etc.)
  • consolidating and managing monthly paper forecasts and aligning with suppliers’ volume allocation and reservation
  • staying in contact and strong collaboration with Mondi KP paper planning team, assuring smooth supply and demand balance
  • negotiating with paper suppliers, contract management and administration of pricelists
  • contributing to efficient and transparent sales & operations planning processes
  • preparing and steering forecast and allocation meetings with all stakeholders
  • evaluation of improvement areas within the process chain and systems
  • market observation and market/price reporting
  • controlling and constant improvement of purchasing database (BW) and local inventory management
  • working with Mondi KP on new innovative planning and supply chain concepts to improve Industrial Bags’ overall supply chain and planning accuracy
  • leading one direct report
  • cooperating with Material Master Coordinator for KP/CB and ensuring correct maintenance of planning relevant attributes and assignments

Our requirements:

  • advanced capability to manage large database
  • SAP and BW/BO skills
  • willingness to travel approx. 10%

Languages: 

  • fluent in Business English
  • German advantageous

Education: 

  • university degree in Finance, Supply Chain Management or Project Management

Experience: 

  • 3 – 5 years’ professional experience within Supply Chain Management
