Senior Sales Analyst (f/m)

Consumer Packaging, Finance, Marketing / Sales, Austria

Your Responsibilities:

In this role you would be part of the Commercial Excellence Team, which is, among other areas, in charge of supporting central & regional management with quantitative analysis, strategic input as well as comprehensive reports and analysis for the sales organisation. You will support with the following:

  • Business & Commercial Intelligence:
    • monitoring and analysing performance of operations, including developing/updating appropriate databases, reports and analytical models
    • performing market/customer analysis in order to evaluate industry and customer developments
    • performing business/investment case analyses and presentations (sales, profitability, industry)
  • Tool & System Ownership: coordinating use/development of CRM system with internal stakeholders
  • Regular Reporting:
    • accurate and timely implementation of regular (monthly/quarterly/annual) reports and support of the budget/year planning updates (xls, Business Warehouse, ERP Systems, Business Objects), including ad hoc analyses, deviation analyses
    • continuous improvement of existing reports and related processes, as well as data maintenance
  • Leading commercial excellence projects (inside and across segments)

Our Requirements:

  • exceptional MS office, especially excellent Excel skills (dashboards, pivot, advanced formulas)
  • experience in working with CRM tools/databases and ERP systems
  • excellent numerical reasoning and IT affinity
  • very good analytical skills and the ability to quickly understand complex correlations

Languages: 

  • fluent in English (both oral and written), any other language is an advantage

Education: 

  • university degree with a focus on economics and/or business studies, MBA advantageous

Experience: 

  • 5 years’ relevant experience (Sales / Business Controlling, Business Process Ownership, Consulting, etc.), preferably in a B2B international production environment
  • international Sales Controlling experience, including Cost Controlling / Cost Accounting in a manufacturing company
  • experience in Business Processes, SAP, Business Warehouse
  • experience in leading small to medium size projects

  • ready to travel up to 25 – 30% of working time, being an important contact for stakeholders in the different locations
