Wooden Raw Material Purchasing Specialist (f/m)

Containerboard (Packaging Paper), Finance / Procurement, Poland

Your responsibilities:

  • Handle/ provide operating services for the existing areas and develop Mill’s new procurement areas and sources of wooden raw material (private market of wood, biomass)
  • Keep trade relations with suppliers
  • Run commercial negotiations for the purchase of the raw material
  • Prepare trade contracts
  • Supervise and coordinate the implementation of delivery schedules
  • Optimisation of raw material purchasing costs
  • Responsibility for correct settlements with raw materials suppliers and contractors
  • Prepare reports on a current basis  

Our requirements:

  • Knowledge of wooden raw material-related issues and market
  • Trade and negotiation abilities,
  • Knowledge of purchasing tools, legal issues related to trade contracts
  • Driving license of B category
  • Computer skills (MS Office)

Languages:

English skills – intermediate level

Education:

Minimum secondary education (preferred higher education of a forestry, economic type)

Experience:

Similar job experience will be welcome
