Sustainable investment index again cites Mondi for best in class sustainability practices

Mondi has been confirmed as a member of the 2018 FTSE4Good Index Series for the eleventh consecutive year, following the index review in June. The FTSE4Good Series is designed to help investors integrate Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) factors into their investment decisions. Only companies that can demonstrate strong sustainability practices make the final list.

A growing number of investors and funds incorporate ESG criteria into their investment decisions. Inclusion in the index is a testament to Mondi’s best in class standards of sustainability governance and reporting.

“Sustainability is an integral part of our growth strategy and we are incredibly proud that our responsible business practices continue to be recognised,” Mondi Group Technical & Sustainability Director John Lindahl said. “Inclusion in the FTSE4Good index positions us as a leader in sustainability performance and demonstrates our commitment to providing sustainable value for all our stakeholders. We are committed to continuing this positive progress.”

Our annual Sustainable Development Report provides a detailed and transparent update on our performance across the ten action areas defined in our Growing Responsibly model, the framework through which we address sustainability challenges and opportunities.
