EcoVadis is a recognised business sustainability ratings organisation covering 200+ industry categories, 175 countries, and more than 100,000 companies worldwide. Every year the organisation assesses companies’ performance in terms of how well they have integrated the principles of sustainability into their businesses and management systems. The methodology is built on international sustainability standards, including the Global Reporting Initiative, United Nations Global Compact, and ISO 26000, and covers 21 indicators in four key areas: environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.
