Specifications

Barrier Films

Our co-extruded barrier films are effective in preserving quality, and help maintain the shelf life of foodstuffs and pet foods. The specific properties of our films offer optimum barriers against moisture, oxygen and flavours. In addition, opaque films keep fat-containing products from oxidising and becoming rancid.
Peel Films

Mondi’s peel films make packaging easy to open, which is an important aspect of convenience. The seal strength can be defined in order to create the ideal combination of a tight seal and easy opening. We produce peel films as laminated films on different substrates such as PET, aluminium, PE and paper.
Antifog Films

Antifog and anti-condensation films prevent the build-up of condensation inside the packaging. Our films thus guarantee that your product is well presented at the POS. Moreover, the customer can see the product inside very clearly through the high-transparency film. Antifog films can be used in conjunction with peel films and barrier properties.
Re-closable Films (Without Barriers)

Re-closable films enable easy opening and re-closing of modified atmosphere packaging (MAP). The packaging can be reclosed up to ten times, thus helping prolong the contents' shelf life. These films can be processed on standard systems in the same way as conventional laminating films (no new equipment necessary).
Sterilisable Films Our retort films are ideal as laminating films for foodstuffs, pet food and medical applications. They are able to withstand sterilisation temperatures above 121°C for specified periods. When used in combination with very high seal strengths, they provide high levels of safety for sensitive products.
