In January 2019, we extended our Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) to 14 countries following positive feedback from employees who used the service in the Group office in Vienna, and from similar services in the US and South Africa. The EAP is a 100% confidential telephone hotline provided by an external company of qualified counsellors and advisers. It can be used by Mondi colleagues and their families free of charge and around the clock, 24/7/365.
Qualified counsellors offer support on a wide variety of topics including family and relationship issues, personal financial problems, stress and conflict, mental health challenges, addiction or dependency. According to anonymous data, employees and family members are increasingly accessing the EAP in all countries where it is available.
