Mondi announced on 7 December 2023 that the net proceeds from the sale of all Mondi’s Russian assets, which amount to approximately €775 million, will be distributed to Mondi shareholders by way of a special dividend, with an associated share consolidation, both subject to shareholder approval.
At the General Meeting on Monday 15 January 2024, shareholders approved the special dividend and share consolidation. See results of the General Meeting here.
The special dividend was paid on 13 February 2024, and the share consolidation taking effect with trading in the new shares beginning on 29 January 2024.
