Qualifications
Graduated in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Cambridge and with an MBA from Cranfield School of Management.
Skills and experience
Ian has extensive international leadership experience across manufacturing, supply chain and commercial operations, managing complex operations and P&Ls across multiple markets.
Ian started his career at Ford Motor Company Limited and A.T. Kearney, before joining Honeywell, a global industrial technology and automation company. He spent 15 years at Honeywell, holding a number of senior P&L leadership roles across the EMEA region.
Ian went on to become Chief Supply Chain Officer and Chief Technology Officer at SIG Group AG, a Swiss listed, global supplier of aseptic carton packaging solutions, with responsibility for global operations, procurement, supply chain, R&D and engineering.
After six years at SIG, Ian was appointed Managing Director of AMFRESH UK & Northern Europe, a fresh produce business serving leading UK supermarket chains.
Ian joined Mondi as CEO Corrugated Packaging in November 2026.
