Your mission:

We are seeking a Relief Day Labourer to join our Fibre Site and Services department at Mondi Hinton Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Clean–up and shovelling duties in the Fibre Site and Services area. 
  • Operating a skidsteer and small loader.
  • Cleaning the railway crossing and switches.
  • Tank watch and fire watch.

This position is a four on/four off alternating days and nights, 12 hours shifts.

Your profile:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Provide a clean drivers abstract.
  • Provide proof of a Class 5 license, with the ability to progress to a Class 3Q license.
  • Capable of wearing a respirator without experiencing sensitivity to wood dust.
  • Able to work at heights (on ladders or scaffolds), and bend/reach into awkward spaces.
  • Pass a vision and hearing test.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
