Role Summary

The HRBP Sales, Marketing & Communications is a strategic partner to senior functional leaders, translating the function’s priorities into an impactful people, culture and organisation agenda. The role is accountable for driving organisational effectiveness and shaping a high-performing culture, while ensuring the attraction, development, engagement and succession of talent across a community of more than 1,000 Sales, Marketing & Communications employees.

Your Mission:

· Drive the definition of commercial capabilities with key stakeholders and translate this into a clear capability-building roadmap to identify gaps, prioritise development actions and ensure readiness for current and future business needs.

· Partner with business leaders and HRBPs to ensure effective organisational structures that support customer focus, speed and collaboration, and manage organisational changes with clear roles and responsibilities.

· Drive performance and talent management across Group Communications and senior Sales & Marketing roles, including succession planning for critical positions. Partner with leaders to accelerate development, strengthen the talent bench, retain key talent, and recognise high performance.

· Partner with assigned senior leaders to foster high-performing teams and a culture that reflects Mondi’s values.

· Provide direct, timely coaching to senior leaders to strengthen leadership capabilities and decision-making.

· Serve as the HR lead for senior functional hires, partnering with Hiring Managers, Talent Acquisition and Talent CoEs on role definition, talent identification and the selection process.

· Define the guiding principles and key requirements for effective sales incentive plans, partnering closely with the business and Total Rewards incl. project roadmap and stakeholder coordination to ensure compliance with information and consultation requirements, successful deployment, and effective training.

· Act as single-point of HR contact for the assigned senior leaders.

· Partner closely with HR Centres of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Analytics & Programs, Total Rewards, Talent and D&I, Compliance) to drive a cohesive and aligned HR agenda and consistent HR practices.

· Actively contribute as a member of the Mondi HR Leadership Team by driving cohesive decision-making, fostering collaboration across the HR teams, and supporting the development and execution of key HR initiatives aligned with business goals.

· Ensure compliance with all local labor laws and internal HR policies, promoting fairness and consistency across all people-related matters.

Your Profile:

· Master’s degree from an accredited university or college in a Human Resources related area

· At least 10 years of professional experience in client-facing HR roles

· Minimum 5 years as a commercial HR Business Partner in the packaging, fast-moving consumer goods industry or adjacent industries

· Strong combination of strategic capabilities and a pragmatic, hands-on approach coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to effectively interface with senior leadership while connecting easily at all levels of the organisation

· Strong business acumen with the ability to align HR priorities with broader business objectives

· Developed (oral and written) communication and diplomacy skill set with the ability to influence others by presenting sound and logical arguments tailored to the audience

· Capable of handling multiple issues and/or projects simultaneously and executing to completion

· Proactive self-starter with a proven ability to prioritize effectively and drive alignment while successfully navigating and collaborating within a complex matrix environment.

· Coaching and leadership assessment experience

· Experience designing and managing sales incentive programs is an advantage

· Fluent English

· Regular travel required: 1 week per month, or 2-3 days per week (3 weeks per month) if based outside Vienna.
