Mondi successfully starts up recycled containerboard machine in Duino, Italy

• Recycled containerboard machine investment completed on time
• Once fully ramped up, the machine will produce 420,000 tonnes of high-quality recycled containerboard annually, increasing Mondi’s integration and enhancing security of supply for customers

Mondi, a global leader in the production of sustainable packaging and paper, has successfully started up its Duino mill. This milestone further strengthens Mondi’s position as a leading producer of high-quality, sustainable packaging solutions while driving long-term value creation.

Throughout the ramp-up phase, Mondi is focused on maintaining consistent production of high-quality recycled containerboard, made from 100% recovered fibre. Ideal for lightweight corrugated solutions, these containerboard paper grades support cost-efficient, fully recyclable packaging solutions for applications such as eCommerce and consumer goods packaging.

Starting up this machine on time is a fantastic achievement and a testament to the dedication and expertise of our team.
