Your Mission:

  • Supervise all aspects of the team’s Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) requirements.
  • Ensure cost‑effective operations by allocating resources efficiently, prioritizing work, and maximizing plant availability.
  • Foster and maintain strong customer and supplier relationships.
  • Implement team KPIs aligned with the departmental plan.
  • Provide technical support to the Electrical / Electronics / Automation maintenance functions within Central Maintenance.
  • Compile and deliver weekly and monthly Electrical Maintenance team reports.
  • Lead, guide, and supervise the Electrical Maintenance team to ensure effective performance.

Your Profile:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a heavy industry environment.
  • Matric plus N4 (Supervisory Management).
  • Relevant Trade Test qualification.
  • National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Hands‑on experience with HV/LV electrical infrastructure, including SIMOCODE and MiCOM protection systems, as well as PLC and drive logic interfaces (advantageous).
  • National Diploma in Pulp & Paper (advantageous).
  • 1–2 years of leadership experience (advantageous).
  • Experience in the Pulp & Paper industry and familiarity with related equipment (advantageous).
  • Working knowledge of SANS 10142 (added advantage).
