Job Description:
The Financial Manager is the senior financial leader for the production facility in Breda and is responsible for managing financial performance, driving strategic planning, and leading the site’s finance department. This role provides critical financial insights to plant and business management, ensures strong financial control, and actively drives profitability, working capital optimization, and long-term business planning.

Your mission:

  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and outlook processes at plant level.
  • Analyze and report monthly financial results, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and variance analysis.
  • Manage month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting in line with corporate timelines.
  • Drive margin, profitability, and working capital improvements at customer and product level.
  • Provide financial modeling and analytical support for strategic initiatives and long-term planning.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and statutory requirements.
  • Oversee plant accounting activities, including AP/AR, inventory planning, and tax-related activities.
  • Lead and develop the site finance team while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Take responsibility for the accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS.
  • Drive the strategic further development and digitalization of accounting processes

Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 7–10+ years of financial experience in a manufacturing environment, including at least 4 years in a senior plant-level finance leadership role.
  • Strong background in cost accounting, variance analysis, and manufacturing financial reporting.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong knowledge of ERP systems, knowledge of ISAH is an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills, process-oriented thinking, and a hands-on, solution-driven mindset.
  • Fluency in spoken and written Dutch and English.
  • Excellent command of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerBi.
  • Proven leadership, communication, and analytical skills with the ability to influence across functions.
