Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Process Lean Expert to lead the transformation of HR operations by applying Lean methodologies, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Kaizen principles, and continuous improvement tools. This role plays a critical part in driving operational excellence, reducing waste, and optimising HR processes to enhance efficiency and employee experience. 

Your mission:

  • Lead end-to-end HR process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Conduct Value Stream Mapping (VSM) to analyse, visualise, and optimise HR workflows, identifying waste and opportunities for improvement across the employee lifecycle.
  • Organise and facilitate Kaizen events focused on solving specific HR pain points and embedding a culture of ongoing process refinement.
  • Perform process mapping, root cause analysis, time-motion studies, and develop data-driven solutions to eliminate inefficiencies.
  • Identify and drive automation and digitalisation of HR services, improving process turnaround time and employee satisfaction.
  • Define and track process KPIs and performance metrics, ensuring that improvements are measurable and sustainable.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, Finance, and Business Leaders to implement process changes that align with business needs.
  • Act as a Lean ambassador within HR, coaching teams on Lean tools and mindsets, and building internal capability.
  • Support change management efforts and ensure strong stakeholder engagement throughout transformation initiatives.
  • Maintain documentation of current and future-state processes, SOPs, and improvement action plans.

Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) is strongly preferred.
  • 7–10 years of experience in HR operations or business process improvement, with at least 3–5 years in Lean process roles.
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale HR process transformation or operational excellence initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of HR process systems, HR analytics, and digital tools.
  • Excellent analytical, project management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and drive change across various levels of the organisation.
  • Willingness to travel across different sites at Mondi and work with Local HR and Business Team.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in using tools like Visio, Power BI, SAP SuccessFactors, ServiceNow, or other HRIS systems.
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies or Design Thinking principles is a plus.
  • Strong stakeholder management and facilitation capabilities.
  • Ability to work across different Regions and culture and drive results by influence
