As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, your primary role will be to maintain all machinery and equipment associated with the Corrugator. To support the optimisation and technical improvement of operations. Keeping tight reins on maintenance standards and working on improvement projects with others.
Your working hours will be 40 per week, Tuesday to Saturday, with Sundays required on an ad hoc basis to cover manufacturer’s maintenance visits.
Your mission:
- Weekly preventative maintenance for Corrugator.
- Assist the Production Manager by taking on delegated engineering tasks.
- Spare parts assigned to Corrugator.
- Scheduling Corrugator engineering and maintenance works.
- Monthly stock-take of spare parts.
- Reacting to breakdowns or issues with the Corrugator.
- To comply with Company Health and Safety rules and procedures to ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe manner.
- Assisting with wider engineering works and supporting the engineering team as required.
Your profile:
- Multi-skilled discipline, with bias towards mechanical.
- Proven experience working with pneumatics and hydraulics.
- Experience working on steam lines and boilers (BOAS).
- Previous BOAS training preferred, but not essential.
- Able to carry out mechanical fault finding, and electrical if required.
- Previous experience maintaining a Corrugator preferred, but not essential.
- Proven supervisory experience and be capable of taking on delegated responsibilities.
