Your mission:
- Team Leadership: Lead a small team of Key Account Managers, fostering their development and performance in line with business goals.
- Key Account Management: Manage and grow business with existing and new regional and international key accounts within the Corrugated Solutions segment.
- Strategic Development: Define and implement the international Key Account strategy, setting clear sales growth and margin targets.
- Commercial Negotiations: Lead and coordinate regional and international tenders, frame contract negotiations, and long-term supply agreements in alignment with regional sales and central functions.
- Customer Pipeline & New Business: Identify and build a pipeline of new international accounts and end-use applications to drive volume and profitability.
- Innovation & Product Development: Collaborate with product innovation teams to drive tailored solutions and sustainable packaging alternatives for key customers.
- Marketing Alignment: Coordinate Key Account-specific marketing activities with the Marketing & Communications team to support customer engagement and positioning.
- Regional Enablement: Support regional sales teams to scale successful innovations and enable new development initiatives using corrugated materials.
- Customer Fulfilment & Implementation: Ensure seamless implementation of commercial agreements across regions and monitor performance against targets.
Your profile:
- Experience in international/regional Key Account Management within FMCG, retail, or e-commerce industries.
- Leadership experience in managing sales teams or direct reports.
- Solid background in packaging, ideally corrugated packaging.
- University degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong strategic, commercial, and analytical capabilities.
- Fluent in English and German; other languages (e.g. Dutch) are a plus.
- Willingness to travel extensively (>50%) across Europe.
- Confident communicator and negotiator with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Hands-on and entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to work independently and deliver results.
- Strong affinity for innovation and cross-functional collaboration (Sales, Marketing, Product Development, Logistics, etc.).
