As a leading global supplier, we produce over 1.4 million tonnes annually of kraft paper for paper bags and a wide range of specialised consumer and industrial applications. We also supply high-quality unbleached market pulp.
With production across 5 countries, our multi-mill network ensures consistent quality and security of supply, while our regional sales teams provide local support wherever you operate.

Whether it’s the perfect combination of strength and porosity from long fibres for paper sacks or strength and smoothness from short and long fibres for speciality packaging, the high-quality of our paper shows in its mechanical properties.
Our sack kraft portfolio includes brown, white and PE-coated paper grades for valve and open mouth industrial bags plus unbleached market pulp.
Our speciality kraft portfolio offers MG (machine glazed), SF (smooth finished) and MF (machine finished) in brown and white grades with different surface finishes for retail, eCommerce, food and beverage, industrial and transport applications. Our Eco/Vantage recycled grades provide 20%, 50% and 100% recycled content options.
Our kraft papers are made from renewable and certified sources where our pulp and paper mills are located. The entire range of kraft papers for packaging is recyclable and/or certified as home or industrially compostable.

Bag Application Centre
Our team performs in-depth physical analysis of all aspects of bag construction, such as bag strength, de-aeration properties, filling behaviour, and bag performance under various storage conditions.
In-house Laboratories
Mondi Frantschach (Austria) operates a recyclability testing laboratory for fibre-based products and pulp. The laboratory uses the 4evergreen test methodology and 4evergreen’s recyclability evaluation protocol to verify recyclability of paper-based packaging solutions.
The Mondi Food Safety Laboratory (FSL) is integrated at Graz University of Technology, with a second location at Mondi Frantschach (Austria). The FSL provides testing, simulations and documentation that adhere to Good Manufacturing Practice principles.
