Mondi Trebsen

The Mondi plant in Trebsen (near Leipzig) was built in 1992 and has been fully integrated into the Mondi Group since 1997. It mainly produces paper bags for the building materials, seed and animal feed industries in the German market. Thanks to the strong technical expertise in the development of innovative paper bags solutions, the production of paper bags can be customised to meet the special requirements of different industries.

The two German industrial bags plants together produce bags solutions for customers from a wide range of industries such as the cement, construction and chemical industries as well as the food, animal feed and seed industries. Our product portfolio includes highly resistant, fast-filling & air-permeable bags that can be equipped with sophisticated airtight or vacuum closures and barrier layers.

A speciality of the Trebsen plant also includes the development and production of so-called "ProtectorBAGs", which provide optimum and space-saving protection for products from a wide range of industries. For example, automotive spare parts or mattresses can be packaged efficiently and sustainably.
