Your mission:
- Optimization of inventory levels to balance material availability and working capital efficiency
- Timely monitoring and release of purchase requisitions for materials based on MRP recommendations
- Continuous monitoring and adjustment of planning parameters (e.g. lead times, reorder levels) within the MRP system
- Resolution of material availability issues to prevent production downtime
- Collaboration with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to align with spares requirements
- Creation, classification, and maintenance of accurate material master records in SAP with adherence to material naming conventions and taxonomy structures in line with cataloguing standards
- Standardization and enrichment of master data attributes (e.g. descriptions, material types, classification codes)
- Timely processing of material master requests and changes to support Mills maintenance and production activities
- Validation and cleansing of existing master data to eliminate duplicates, errors, and obsolete records
- Timely escalation and resolution of issues impacting data accuracy, material availability, or workflow
- Delivery of role-specific projects and tasks within agreed timeframes and quality expectations
Your profile:
- Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Trade tested artisan with N4 Minimum
- Strong proficiency in SAP, especially in the Materials Management (MM) module) & MRP/ERP systems
- 3 - 5 years of experience in Inventory management (MRP)
- 3 - 5 years of experience in Material master data management & cataloguing
