Your Mission:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the spare parts stores, including receiving, binning, issuing, and returning of materials.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records using SAP (MM Module)
- Ensure compliance with regular cycle counts and annual stock take; investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Ensure parts are stored, handled, and labeled in accordance with Mondi and industry standards.
- Collaborate closely with maintenance, procurement, and MRP teams to ensure part availability and timely service support.
- Lead and motivate a team of store personnel, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven culture.
- Operate effectively within a unionized environment, maintaining positive employee relations and resolving issues constructively.
- Enforce compliance with workplace safety regulations, standards, and company procedures.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in inventory control and warehouse processes.
Your profile:
- Matric with Maths + Trade Tested Artisan with minimum or relevant National Diploma OR
- Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
- 3 to 5 years of experience in spare parts inventory or warehouse supervision
- Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop teams.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on team collaboration and employee engagement.
- Proficiency in SAP (MM Module) and SAP PM will be advantageous
- Solid knowledge of inventory control practices and health & safety standards.
- Valid South African driver's license
